Handstand is not the Goal

The yoga pose is not the goal.

Becoming flexible is not the goal. Standing on your hands is not the goal.

The goal is to create space where you were once stuck. To unveil the layers of protection you’ve built around your heart. To appreciate your body and become aware of the mind and the noise it creates. To make peace with who you are.

The goal is to love, well… You.

Come to your yoga mat to feel; not to accomplish.

Shift your focus and your heart will grow.

Come to your yoga mat to honor your body, You, Soul, appreciate your body, a genius vehicle that carries you through this life. Your body enables you to experience, communicates with you, and tries to guide you on your path. Come to your mat to become sensible to this voice. To push your heart, to breathe, to stretch and feel where the tensions are, to make your blood flow and your lungs ventilated, to open your heart, to soften the fascias and push the lymph fluid through the body, to hear the voice, to come in harmony with it. To be totally melted, You, Soul with your wonderful body.
